Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Servings : Makes 24 cookies

Equipment needed : Hand blender


1/2 Cup unsalted butter, softened

1 Cup brown sugar

1/2 Cup white sugar

2 Eggs

1 tsp Vanilla extract

2 1/4 Cups all purpose flour

1 tsp Baking soda

1/2 tsp Salt

Pinch of cinnamon

1 Cup dark chocolate chips (or any type you like)


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large bowl beat the unsalted butter for about 2 minutes, then add the white sugar and beat for another minute and add the brown sugar and beat until well blended and fluffy.
  3. Add one egg at a time to the above mixture and beat until each egg is well mixed, then add the vanilla extract and beat again to mix.
  4. Then place your dry ingredients into your wet ingredients in the bowl and mix with a spoon (do not overmix).
  5. Place the chocolate chips in the bowl and gently mix together.
  6. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  7. Roll ping-pong ball size balls and place them on your baking sheet about 1 inch apart.
  8. Place the baking sheets in the middle of the oven and bake for approximately 10 minutes until lightly golden, do not overcook them.
  9. Remove from the oven and place the cookies on a cooling rack to cool.
