Dalgona Coffee Using Hand Mixer

Servings : 3

Equipment needed : Hand mixer

Ingredients

Dalgona Coffee:

2 Tbsp instant coffee

2 Tbsp sugar

2 Tbsp boiling hot  water

1 Cup milk (hot or cold)

Cinnamon to sprinkle

Mocha Dalgona Coffee:

2 Tbsp instant coffee

2 Tbsp sugar

2 Tbsp boiling hot water

1 Tbsp cocoa powder

1 Cup milk (hot or cold)

Chocolate shavings to sprinkle

Salted Caramel Dalgona Coffee:

2 Tbsp instant coffee

2 Tbsp sugar

2 Tbsp boiling hot water

1 Cup cold milk

2 Pumps salted caramel syrup

3 Ice cubes

Caramel sauce to drizzle

Method

  1. Dalgona Coffee: In a bowl add the instant coffee, sugar and boiling water and mix with a hand mixer, first on low speed then on high speed until thickened and light and creamy.
  2. In a coffee mug pour the milk (hot or cold) then dollop the Dalgona coffee mixture on top and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  3. Mocha Dalgona Coffee: Follow step (a) in Dalgona Coffee. Towards the end of beating add the cocoa powder and blend again on low speed.
  4. In a coffee mug pour the milk (hot or cold) then dollop the mocha Dalgona coffee mixture on top and sprinkle with chocolate shavings.
  5. Salted Caramel Dalgona Coffee: Follow step (a) in Dalgona Coffee. 
  6. Add two pumps of the salted caramel syrup into a coffee mug and put the ice cubes in.  Pour over the cold milk, and dollop the whipped Dalgona coffee mixture on top.  Drizzle with caramel syrup.
