    3. Next, add the ground beef, dried herbs, salt and pepper and mix together until the beef is no longer pink and the ingredients are nicely mixed together, breaking up any lumps of beef as you go along.
    4. Add the worcester sauce and minced garlic and mix together for 1 minute.
    5. Then add the flour and tomato paste and mix together again, then pour in the beef broth and stir.
    6. Add the peas, carrots and corn and mix together again.

    7. Peel and chop the potatoes, the place them in a pot of boiling water and boil for approximately 10 minutes until softened.
    8. Drain the potatoes then add the butter and mash together, pour in the half & half.
    9. Keep mashing and add in the garlic salt, salt, and pepper and parmesan cheese until well mixed.

Assemble your shepherd’s pie in a large rectangular Pyrex dish. First pour in the meat mixture and smooth it into a nice layer, lastly spoon your potatoes onto your meat mixture and smooth the top, then add the grated cheddar cheese on top of that.

Put in the oven for 25-30 minutes
