Fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes

Servings : Approximately 5 to 7


3 Cups all purpose flour

4 tsp Baking powder

1 tsp Baking soda

2 Tbsp Sugar

1/4 tsp Salt

4 Cups buttermilk

2 Eggs

2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted


  1. Place all the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar & salt) in a bowl and gently whisk together.
  2. In another large bowl, with a whisk, mix together all the wet ingredients (buttermilk, eggs & melted butter).
  3. Pour the mixed dry ingredients into the bowl with the wet ingredients and gently combine with a whisk, do not overmix.
  4. Heat a pan to medium high heat with a knob of unsalted butter, when butter has melted, use a scoop to blob the batter into the pan.
  5. Flip the pancake over when you see bubbles rise to the top of the batter.
  6. The pancakes should have a nice golden colour when ready.
  7. You can eat your pancakes with any fruit or syrup of your choice.
