French Toast

Servings : 6 

Equipment needed : Frying Pan

Ingredients

6 Slices of Bread (your choice of bread)

6 Eggs

1 tsp Cinnamon 

1 Cup milk (your choice of milk)

1 tsp Vanilla extract

Butter to grease your pan

Fruit to garnish

Syrup or honey for drizzling

Icing sugar for sprinkling

Method

  1. Whisk 6 eggs in a bowl
  2. Add milk of your choice, vanilla extract and cinnamon, then whisk until all ingredients are well combined.
  3. Pour the egg mixture in a container or dish that will fit  your bread slices.
  4. Heat frying pan on medium to high heat with butter to grease your pan
  5. Take a bread slice and dip it into the egg mixture on both sides, repeat this with the remaining bread slices.
  6. Place your soaked bread slices into the frying pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on both sides, check the centre to make sure the egg is cooked through the bread.
  7. Transfer the french toast to a serving plate and serve with your choice of fruits, syrup or honey and icing sugar to sprinkle.
