Homemade Style Pizza

Servings : Makes 4 pizzas

Equipment needed : 2 Baking sheets, pizza cutter

4X Pitas

Ingredients

Tomato pizza sauce or pesto sauce

Shredded chicken

Tomatoes

Spinach

Banana peppers rings

Red bell peppers

Red onion 

Mozzarella cheese

Avocado

Or any other toppings of your choice

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. Place two pitas on each of the baking sheets, spread tomato pizza sauce or pesto sauce on each pita using the back of a spoon.
  4. Spoon the shredded chicken on top of the pizza / pesto sauce and spread to the edges.
  5. Spread the other vegetable toppings on top of the shredded chicken, top with mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake in the oven for 10-15 mins until the cheese has melted and turned golden and the other ingredients have softened.
  7. Turn off the oven, and remove the pizzas, add avocado if desired, then transfer to a cutting board and cut your pizza in triangles.
